It all started back in the summer of 2021 when the mysterious, anonymous "Benequackers" did an overnight surprise launch of our initial giant rubber duck "JOY". The response was tremendous both locally as well as in the global media. People traveled from hundreds of miles away to simply see JOY bobbing away in the middle of Belfast harb

The response was tremendous both locally as well as in the global media. People traveled from hundreds of miles away to simply see JOY bobbing away in the middle of Belfast harbor.

Part of what makes Belfast Islesboro Greater District Unity Coalition of Kindness Society so special is that we aren't in it for the fame. Neither are we sending any political nor religous messages. And we certainly aren't trying to sell anything.
We simply decided that the world needs a bit more joy in it. To keep that message in its purest form our team has decided to stay anonymous.
